herewith we convey the Call for Papers of the 4th European Conference on Mobile Robots – ECMR09 to be held at the hotel Astarea in Mlini/Dubrovnik during 23-25 September, 2009.

ECMR is a biannual, internationally open forum. It provides keynote sessions, panel sessions and original presentations about research in progress and it will be organized in single track mode to favor discussions. With its low-fee policy, it especially seeks to attract young researchers to present their work to an international audience. For further details, please consult http://www.ecmr09.fer.hr.

The scope of ECMR covers most aspects of robotics research and machine intelligence, including (but not limited to): multi-sensor fusion, obstacle avoidance, localization, map building, navigation, active perception, behaviour and appearance-based robotics, path and task planning, multi-robot systems, learning and adaptation, vision-based navigation, multimodal human-robot interaction, cognitive robotics, experimental evaluation and benchmarking, 3D sensing, new applications for mobile robotics, etc.
